10 Marketing Buzz Words
I just attended the interactive tract sessions at the CADM Marketing Days. I walked away with a list of 10 most-used concepts as well as some other interesting facts.
Here are the 10 buzz words:
1. Google
2. Blog

10. My Space
Here are 2 other interesting facts:
1. Of 12 presenters in my tract, only 1 was female.
2. Many of the presenters who gave advice on web usage did not list their website on their cards.

No Second life?
One presenter did mention Second life, but no one talked about it as being a tool for marketing products, even though we know different companies have been building their own worlds inside Second Life.
I did find it interesting that no one talked about RSS, or as you said Second Life. No one talked about wireless much either, or hand-held web strategy. It was all pretty much standard web analytics and agency-perspective stuff. I felt very smart during the whole thing….
