Griffin Says “Suck it Jesus”
Watch Griffin tell Jesus to suck it, and the “controversy” it caused, including a statement from the president of the Catholic League saying that Griffin’s statements were worse than racist.
Within an hour of putting the video up on you tube I had about 200 hits and 10 comments. I couldn’t help be laugh at this comment:
The third commandment of the 10 commandments is not to use God’s (Jesus)name in any other way than in reverence and respect. Put your Mom’s name in Jesus’s place and you would be hurt. But, it’s not our Mom who’s been sinned against…Kathy did it straight to God’s face with approval by the passive audience. Stay tuned folks! (Read the bible for coming events)
So much anger believers have… And are there really only 10 commandments? I thought there were more than that. When I’m king of the world I’ll have 100 commandments and the most serious of them all will be, “if you are clueless shut the fuck up!” The second most serious one will be “if you have no sense of humor, shut the fuck up!”

I still dont think of Griffin as an atheist though…
I am somewhat intrigued that it the network feels the need to edit those comments out. It is a shame that religion is so fragile it can not allow even the hint of a joke to be made at its expense.

Well if the woman says she’s catholic I suppose we have to take her word for it, but it sounds like the Catholic League might want to excommunicate her. It just blows my mind that the Catholic League managed to make such a huge deal out of this. Since the show all I read in the press was”Griffin said “no one had less to do with this award than Jesus. expletive. this award is my god now!” So, I kept thinking did she use the f word? Apparently she did worse, worse than racism!
These catholic league donkeys are taking serious freedoms when it comes to labeling people and concepts in the most mistaken way. The same way they teach their kids in Sunday school that Hitler was an atheist, they probably have a totally fucked-up idea of what racism truly is, to be able to say that saying “Suck it Jesus” is worse than racism. This is what a deem a danger in how much press their idiocy gets–they get to spread their false (and full of rage) ideas to the masses. I think that’s more violent and vulgar than what Griffin did.
