Nicely said Billy! It would be silly to expect to be running for presidency and go through your candidacy without tough questioning, regardless of who you are. Being president should not be easy and neither should be getting there.

When a political party uses religion (faith-based initiatives, values voters) as one of two crutches to entice people to vote for that party, why are they suddenly surprised when a candidate who professes to a non-mainstream religion is questioned by members of the protestant and catholic community? It would be the same as a candidate supporting 'family values' and then saying, "Ignore my private live." Oh. Wait. Giuliani.

That's for your comment Interested. By questioning them all I mean we should question religious issues that may interfere with public policies and politics. I don't believe it should be a requirement for a leader to strip themselves of their religion but it should be expected that they are asked and have to answer tough questions about how their beliefs would influence their policies.

Excellent point. I have thought a lot about my reasons for not trusting Romney but you are correct, we should question them all.
